LEGAL ADVICE CLINICS
Free of charge legal advice clinics organised as part of the Council of Europe JUSTROM programme will be held:
Thursday 14 September (10.30am-1pm) and every second Thursday, 28 September, 12 October, 26 October, 9 November, 23 November and 7 December by appointment at Exchange House, 61 Strand Street Great, North City, Dublin
Legal advice will be provided in connection with the following issues (among others):
• Discrimination claims
• Housing & Accommodation
• Landlord & Tenant
• Social Welfare

Drug & Alcohol Prevention and Education
Southside Travellers employ a full time Drug Prevention & Education Worker to support Travellers to address drug & alcohol issues within the community.
Support is offered to individuals, families and the community through support and advice, information & awareness programmes, and referral to specialist drug & alcohol services if needed.
An example of the services include;
- individual support for young people abusing drugs and alcohol.
- support for parents and families dealing with addiction in the home.
- referral to drug counselling, treatment centres, and family support groups.
- education and awareness programmes for parents, youths, and staff to raise awareness of drug & alcohol issues.
- engagement of youths in positive social, recreational and sporting activities.
